In australia, jaycar which is an electronics supplier sells these vehicles which are branded as RC-TECH. I have bought many vehicles from them over the years and realised they are just rebranded wl-toys vehicles.

2. The transmitters for all 1:12, 1:18 and 1:24 scale models(Brushed Versions, havent had a brushless version yet) can be used with most wl-toys brushed vehicles, including the 1:24 scale micro cars e.g - L343 Truggy. One transmitter can also be synced with 4 recievers from the brushed models as well. (I made a wl-toys 6wd custom rig, so I can definitely confirm this!) POssibly more recievers can be synced with the one transmitter, but it works with 4.

3. Even the brushed versions I had suffered the same fatal flaws. The 1:12 and 1:18 vehicles both stripped the same gears in multiple models. The success rate is about 50% for this problem, as I have had about 8 cars and 4 of them failed.

4. The recievers did hate water of any kind, some heated up from normal use and literally started smoking. Something to watch if running on a hot day.

5. I had at one stage made the 1:12 scale truck a road racer with 1:10 scale road tyres fitting right on with no mods. You will need the hexes with the tyres, and some nuts to act as spacers as the rim is half the size of the drive shaft, but looked wicked to me!

Thats it so far, hope this helps a bit. Cheers for the great info!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02498856725655753359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687669506487498814.post-82878856674379401332017-01-18T04:38:45.643-08:002017-01-18T04:38:45.643-08:00The ESC only gives you the forward reverse functio...The ESC only gives you the forward reverse function, the direction servo works?? if not is not your ESC is a bind problem
Honnestly I don´t remember how to bind the original transmitter cause at the end I replace all the electronics.....Rodrigohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07653416276270382488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687669506487498814.post-40401422454648211082017-01-18T04:36:02.791-08:002017-01-18T04:36:02.791-08:00Servo problem my friendServo problem my friendRodrigohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07653416276270382488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8687669506487498814.post-7476761428729431252016-10-22T06:03:43.156-07:002016-10-22T06:03:43.156-07:00Extremely comprehensive guide and description. Replaced battery and esc unit. Think it might be worse with the newer esc unit and blue battery compared to old set up with black one. HELP! Litehawk has been really good and send new units out but same problem. My kids are crushed. Anyone have these issues? We really like the Blasts or do I need to buy Traxxas? I have both, and the truck handles better, handles bumps better, jumps better, and is just generally more fun, in my opinion.

Well, I suggest 979 is even better! You know why? It's harder to kill. See, 979 has BUMPERS and also wheels don't protrude from under the body. This is why it jumps, hits, falls, but wheels and axles stay undamaged.

Also, I didn't have the tire contact problem you said you have due to fat tires.

Hope this helps a bit. Thanx again fellow RCer! Glebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18142141123741752496noreply@blogger.com
