Bosch SHP65T56UC dishwasher stops randomly without error code
TL;DR: The machine thinks that the door is being opened during the cycle, hence no error codes. It's one of three things: • The door IS actually being opened, without you knowing, by a child / family member who does not know how to restart the wash cycle; • The control board has gone bad; or • The door switch has gone bad. In a (somewhat rare) twist, my local shop wanted $350 (after diagnostics fee) to replace less than $100 in parts, so I DIY'd it. I realize that sounds (stereo)typical but I've not (knowingly) gotten ripped off that badly for a while. • Control board replacement video here • Door switch replacement video here Interestingly, the door switch uses a magnet and Hall-effect sensor to determine if the door is closed or not.
