LG Gram Pro (17", 2026) randomly crashes with Stop code: VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL (0x10E)
Problem: As described. Starts suddenly, disappears just as suddenly. Crashes can occur anytime after boot (i.e. anywhere between 5 minutes and hours later), or sometimes never. --- Solution: Try unplugging devices from the USB-C ports before booting. If that works, you can try disabling "Fast startup" in the Windows Control Panel and the BIOS, then try again by rebooting with USB devices plugged. If that doesn't work, the Gram is just not for you. Return it. --- I spent days on this one, and I am thoroughly unimpressed with LG for making me do that. Windows updates, driver updates, advanced graphics settings, startup/power settings, BIOS settings, memtest_vulkan, endless reboots. Hours staring at it, wondering if or when it might crash again. I had to set up a camera to watch it! Was totally ready to return the thing, then I unplugged the USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter and shazam - no more crashing. Immediately thought "bad adapter"....
